Evan Paneras Selected Liberty League Rookie of the Week

Evan Paneras stood out in his first invitational of the 2025-26 season for the Clarkson University Swimming & Diving team and was rewarded when the conference announced him as the Liberty League Rookie of the Week on Monday afternoon.

Competing in a five-team field at the North Country Invitational, Paneras placed second in the 100 butterfly in a time of 51.19 seconds, then finished third in the 200 butterfly in 1:59.48, and rounded out his weekend by placing fourth in the 200 freestyle in 1:49.56.

This season, Paneras has won six individual races for the Golden Knights in four dual meets, placing first in each of his butterfly races. He has won the 100 butterfly on four occasions, the 50 butterfly once, and the 200 butterfly once.
