Prior to the Clarkson Men’s Basketball game against Union on February 19, Elson Pickering was presented with a ceremonial basketball by head coach Mark Gilbride in recognition of his reaching a significant scoring milestone. Pickering, a native of Brooklyn, NY, became just the 16th player to record 1,000 career points in his collegiate career for Golden Knights Men’s Basketball, a program that has existed for over 100 years. A 6-6 senior forward, Pickering achieved the feat in the Green and Gold’s 64-52 win over Hamilton College on February 13. Clarkson Basketball tradition. -      Photo by Gary Mikel
