The Clarkson Golden Knights will open ECAC play today with a full 12 team league.  The Knights will face Union today at 3:00 pm and RPI tomorrow at 3:00 pm

The Clarkson Golden Knights suffered their first loss of the season on Saturday out in Bemidji, MN, 2-1.  Brooke McQuigge got the lone goal for the Knights.  They out shot the Beavers 29-18 but were unable to solve Hannah Hogenson until late in the third.  The Knights have out shot their opponents in all but 1 game so far this season.

Clarkson will travel to the Capital Region for the first time since almost exactly 2 years ago to face Union and RPI and play them for the first time since Dec 6th & 7th of 2019 (home games at Cheel). 

Clarkson is 33-1 all time vs Union.  The lone loss was Nov 4th, 2011, 2-1 at Union.

Caitrin Lonergan leads the Knights in scoring with a balanced 5 goals and 6 assists.  She is tied for 15th in the nation for total points.  For her career she averages 1.3 points per game.  Lonergan was named a Patty Kazmaier Top Ten Finalists in 2021.  It was the 2nd time for Lonergan.   Caitrin is 3rd among active players in NCAA for career points and career goals, she is 5th in Points per Game, 3rd in Power Play goals and 4th in Short Handed goals.  With her assist last Friday night, Caitrin now has 100 career assists

Michelle Pasichneyk has only allowed 9 goals in 7 games this season, and owns a .943 save % and 1.27 GAA, good for 13th and 10th nationally.  The Sophomore was named the MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week in the ECAC for Oct. 18th
