The Golden Knights continue to get great point production from their top line, which tonight accounted for all three goals en route to a 3-2 win over Syracuse to complete the weekend sweep of the Orange.  A crowd over close to 1000 was on hand as part of the Clarkson Presidential Inauguration Weekend.

After a 5-2 win at Syracuse last night, the Orange were the first to score on the Power Play, but Clarkson answered on the next shift when Anne Cherkowski knocked a pass from Gabrielle David.  Darcie Lappan was able to get the cross ice pass to David, who drove wide and then centered it to Cherkowski.

David would get a goal at 16:38 of the 2nd period to put the Knights up 2-1, Lappan and Cherkowski would add assist on the goal.  

The Orange would battle back to tie the game late in the 2nd, but early in the 3rd period, David got her 2nd of the game to put the Knights up for good.
Syracuse would pull their goalie late, but were unable to get any pressure on net. 

Julia Minotti would make 14 saves on 16 shots and look strong in nets getting her 2nd  win as a Golden Knight.  

Next up these two teams will meet in Lake Placid on Friday night at the Icebreaker Tournament at the Olympic Center.
