The Golden Knights Women's Hockey team would head out to their second ECAC road trip in which they will face two ranked opponents, starting with the 10-1 #5 ranked Quinnipiac Bobcats.
The two teams would skate to a scoreless first period, the Bobcats would outshoot the Knights 9-7.
In the 2nd period, the Bobcats would jump out to a 1-0 lead at 8:21 when Kendall Cooper would score and then within a 2 minute span, Quinnipiac would get a power play goal at 11:10 and then make it 3-0 at 12:29. The Knights would call a time out to collect themselves and head into the intermission down 3-0.
The Knights would battle in the 3rd, but were unable to get anything past Bobcats goalie, Logan Angers, and then with 2 seconds left in the game, Quinnipiac would get a power play goal to make it 4-0 and seal the win.
Michelle Pasiechnyk would finish with 28 saves for the game. Clarkson was 0 for 1 on the Power Play and allowed 2 goals on 5 chances for Quinnipiac.
Tomorrow, the Knights travel to Princeton, NJ to take on the #15 ranked Tigers.
