In a game where two of the nation's top scoring offenses meet up against the two goalies with the best goal against average in the nation, something had to give and team defense and goaltending stole the show, but in the end the Knights dropped a 2-1 decision at Colgate.

The Raiders would open the scoring early in the 1st, when Kaltounkova scored.  The Knights would even the score in the 3rd when Gabrielle David scored just 21 seconds into the period to tie the game Winn and Cherkowski would assist on the goal. 
 

A goal was reviewed and overturned that would have put Colgate ahead with 11:04 left in the game, but at 16:52 the Raiders scored to take the lead.  The Knights would pull Pasiechnyk for the extra attacker but were unable to get the equalizer.  
 

The Knights were out shot for only the 2nd time this season, 31 to 23.  Michelle Pasiechnyk finished with 29 saves on the night.  Clarkson was 0 for 2 with the power play and killed off all 4 Colgate chances. 
 

The Knights will face Cornell tomorrow at 3pm at Lynah Rink.
