Clarkson ran into an offense in the Big Red that scored 15 goals on the weekend, falling 8-1 at Cornell this afternoon.
The Knights fell behind quick, when Cornell scored 40 seconds and 1:04 into the game. After a time out from Coach Desrosiers, the Knights were able to steady the ship and get one back at 4:26 when
Gretchen Branton scored.
The 2nd period was difficult for the Knights as they gave up a power play goal at 6:44 and then 4 more in the span of 7 minutes to fall behind 7-1.
Michelle Pasiechnyk started and made 9 saves,
Julia Minotti and
Alexa Madrid both made 2 saves over the the next 25 minutes of action.
