MEN'S HOCKEY
David Leggio
Sophomore, Goaltender - Williamsville, NY/Capital District Selects
- Making his first back-to-back starts of the season, David Leggio backboned Clarkson to the three-point weekend by turning aside 47 of 49 shots in 125 minutes of play to earn mention on the ECACHL weekly Honor Roll. In the win over league leader Cornell, Leggio posted 23 saves, including 10 in the third period, as the Knights snapped a three-game losing skid. He came back on Saturday with a 24-save effort through 65 minutes of action in the 1-1 tie against Colgate. Leggio has gone 2-1-1 over his last four games to improve his record to 7-5-3.
WOMEN'S HOCKEY
Amanda Dittmer
Sophomore, Forward - Chatham, ONT/Mississauga Jr. Chiefs
- Amanda Dittmer recorded her third goal of the season for the winning score in Clarkson's 2-1 victory at Cornell with under five minutes left in the third period. She was named to the ECACHL weekly Honor Roll.
NORDIC SKIING
Mary Rhoads
Senior - Fryeburg, ME/Fryeburg Academy
- Mary Rhoads highlighted a strong showing for the Nordic Ski team at the Cornell Invitational at Salmon Hills in Redfield, NY on February 4-5. Rhoads won the 9k pursuit race with a time of 1:06:13. She also won the 10km skate race with a time of 30:56. Rhoads and Whitney Olson combined for a first-place showing in the 2x3x800m sprint relay with a time of 14:00.
WOMEN'S ALPINE SKIING
Katelyn Wagner
Junior - Troy, NY/Tamarac
- Katelyn Wagner came in first in the giant slalom and sixth in the slalom to finish in third place overall and lead the Golden Knights to another victory at the USMA Invitational at Hunter Mountain.
MEN'S ALPINE SKIING
Kurt Naser
Sophomore - Arlington, MA/Minuteman Regional
- Kurt Naser Naser finished first in the slalom and third in the giant slalom to repeat as overall champion at the USMA Invitational at Hunter Mountain.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Erika Fritjofson
Senior, Guard - East Barre, VT/Spaulding
- Erika Fritjofson recorded her third 20-point game of the season in a tough loss to Union on Saturday, shooting 7-for-14 from the field and 3-for-7 from the 3-point line. For the week, she averaged 13.3 points per contest along with 2.0 rebounds per game.
MEN'S BASKETBALL
Erick Vigansky
Junior, Forward - Kenosha, WI/Tremper
- Erik Vigansky enjoyed the best week of his collegiate career, averaging 16.3 ppg. His best game of the week came against Union when he scored 22 points on 8-for-9 shooting (6-for-6 from the 3-point line). He shot 19-for-30 over three games.
