Clarkson followed up their 8-2 win against Union with a shutout of Capital District travel partner RPI on Sunday night.
The game did not start with the same pace as Saturday but the Knights continued to lean on RPI until 12:27 of the first when
Anthony Romano scored his 8th of the season.
Dustyn McFaul put the Knights up 2-0 with just :47 seconds left in the first period.
Two more goals in the second period from
Luke Santerno and
Alex Campbell put the Knights ahead for good, as they would add another from
Mathieu Gosselin in the third to finish off the Engineers 5-0.
Alex Campbell ended with a goal and 3 assists, while
Jordan Power added two helpers from the point.
Ethan Haider made 21 saves for his third shut out of the season. Clarkson out shot RPI 40 to 21 on the night.
The Knights will travel to New England next weekend to face Harvard and Dartmouth.
