Ryan Richardson's overtime goal lifted Clarkson to a 3-2 win over Brown and brings the Knights to 5-5 on the season.
Clarkson would go down 1-0 at 14:48 of the 1st, when Tonelli would score for the Bears.
Clarkson would take the lead in the 3rd period on a nice feed from
Jesse Tucker and a smooth backhand from
George Grannis for his 2nd goal in as many games. Brown would waste no time letting the Knights enjoy the lead, as Ryan St. Louis would score just 17 seconds after.
The teams would trade power play opportunities in the final minutes of the game, with the Knight's having to kill off a Brown penalty in the final 2 minutes.
In overtime, the Knights would get possession just inside the blueline and
Ryan Richardson would get his own rebound off of a blocked shot and rifle a shot over Lawton's shoulder for the game winner at 1:12 of overtime.
Austin Roden would make 26 saves for the win in nets tonight. Clarkson was 0 for 3 with the power play and killed all 4 of Brown's chances.
Tomorrow the Knights will travel to New Haven to face Yale, who blanked St. Lawrence 5-0 tonight.
