POTSDAM, NY - Clarkson would out shoot and out chance the Crimson, but Harvard came away this evening with a 3-2 win over the Golden Knights.
Mathieu Gosselin would get the Knights on the board first with a rebound goal just 1:57 into the game.
Jordan Power sent
Alex Campbell in on the rush and Gosselin was able to take Campbell's shot off the rebound and slip it past Harvard's Mitchell Gibson.
The Crimson would not let the lead stand long as they tied the game at 3:40 when John Farinacci got his 4th of the season. Then just 1 minute later, Ryan Drkulec would make it 2-1 Harvard, a lead they would take into the intermission.
The second period started much like the first, with a senior scoring early in the period for the Knights.
Anthony Romano would get his second of the weekend and 7th of the season at 1:41 of the 2nd.
The period seemed like it was heading into the break with the score tied at 2, but with :0.2 seconds left in the period, Harvard's Ian Moore would convert. The goal would be reviewed, and stand giving the Crimson the lead.
In the 3rd, the Knights would outshoot and out chance Harvard, but could not get the equalizer and ended up with the 3-2 loss.
