The 2025 Walter Cup champion is the Minnesota Frost, who featured two former Golden Knights,
Dominique Petrie and
Brooke McQuigge. The Frost won their second consecutive Walter Cup title, defeating the Charge in a best-of-five series that went to four games. The series ended with a 2-1 overtime win for the Frost on Monday.
In the playoffs, Brooke played in 8 games scoring 2 goals and 1 assists. During the regular season, Brooke skated in 29 games scoring 8 goals and 7 assists.  Dom played in 7 playoff games registering an assist, while playing in 18 regular season games, scoring 3 goals and 7 assists. Â
The Frost defeated Ottawa which also featured another former Golden Knight, Stehanie Markowski. Markowski skated in 8 playoff games for the Charge and 28 in the regular season scoring 1 goal and 4 assist. Â
McQuigge and Petrie were key skaters in Clarkson's 2024 run to the Frozen Four then were drafted by the Frost in the 2024 entry draft. Â
