MEN'S BASKETBALL
Russ Vitallo
Senior, Forward - Dracut, MA/Dracut

- Russ Vitallo ended his collegiate career with back-to-back double-double performances against Hobart and Hamilton. Veruss the Statesmen, he produced 21 points and 13 rebounds and followed that up with 12 points and 11 boards against the Continentals. 





WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Erika Fritjofson
Senior, Guard - East Barre, VT/Spaulding

- Erika Fritjofson produced a career-high 22 points against William Smith, scoring nearly half of the Knights points, in a loss to the Herons. Fritjofson finished her career ranking 11th overall in points, with 811, and fourth in 3-point field goals, with 99.



MEN'S HOCKEY
Jeff Genovy
Senior, Forward - Kalamazoo, MI/Des Moines Buccaneers

- Jeff Genovy recorded his first career multiple-goal outings with back-to-back two-goal efforts to lead Clarkson to the four-point weekend with wins over Yale (3-2) and Brown (8-2). Named ECACHL Player of the Week, he is the Knights’ third-leading scorer with 26 points on 12 goals and 14 assists after recording just seven points (3-4) last year. Genovy is tied for the team lead in plus/minus at +9

WOMEN'S HOCKEY
Kira Hurley
Junior, Goaltender - Pickering, ONT/Leaside Kings (Boys)

- Kira Hurley withstood a third period in which she was peppered with 16 shots to record her nation-leading 10th shutout as the Clarkson University Women's Hockey team defeated Yale 2-0 in New Haven, CT. Named to the ECACHL Honor Roll for the sixth time this season, Hurley finished with 28 saves against the Bulldogs. 


WOMEN'S SWIMMING
Katherine Gawrys
Freshman - Ballston Spa, NY/Ballston Spa

 

- Katherine Gawrys has showed promise all season long for the Clarkson Swim team and appears ready to take a step forward in the coming seasons as she came through with a sixth-place finish in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:03.41 at the NYSWCAA Championships this weekend at Nottingham High School.  She also earned points for Clarkson in the 100 freestyle, coming in 14th overall, and the 200 freestyle, where she finished 22nd. Gawrys also swam on point-earning relay teams in the 200 and 400 medley relay as well as the 400 freestyle relay.

WOMEN'S ALPINE SKIING
Katelyn Wagner
Junior - Troy, NY/Tamarac

- Katelyn Wagner came in fourth in the giant slalom, but first in the slalom to take first place in the overall standings at the Hamilton Invitational. 


 


MEN'S ALPINE SKIING
Kurt Naser
Sophomore -  Arlington, MA/Minuteman Regional

- Kurt Naser continued his strong season for the Golden Knights, once again pacing Clarkson at the Hamilton Invitational. He finished second in the giant slalom and first in the slalom to take the overall title. 




NORDIC SKIING
Sam Morse
Senior - Camden, NY/Camden

-  Sam Morse placed first in the 10k freestyle Keskinada International Race in Gatineau, Quebec on Sunday. Morse finished with a winning time of 21:53.1 out of a field of 425 racers.
