CLARKSON ATHLETE of the WEEK
- March 31, 2008

Women's Lacrosse
Kimberly Loucks
Sophomore, Midfield - Waterloo, NY

Kimberly Loucks scored eight goals and added an assist for nine points in the Liberty League's opening weekend. Against 11th-ranked Union, Loucks was the team's leading scorer with four goals. On Saturday, Clarkson put a tally in the win column with a victory over Skidmore College, thanks in large part to Loucks' four goals and one assist. She was named the Liberty League's Offensive Performer of the Week.

Men's Lacrosse
Greg Lamb
Senior, Goaltender - Baldwinsville, NY

Greg Lamb has backboned a stingy defensive effort by the Golden Knights in the early going of the season, helping to lead Clarkson to a 3-2 record. Lamb won the Liberty League Defensive Performer of the Week honor on March 24 as he backstopped the Golden Knights to two close wins on the road. He made 18 saves, including eight in the fourth quarter, in a 6-5 overtime victory over Bowdoin in Florida on Wednesday, and then matched that effort against RIT on Saturday, allowing just a single goal to the Tigers in the second half en route to a 6-4 win.

MEN'S HOCKEY
SHEA GUTHRIE
Junior, Forward - Carleton Place, ONT
Shea Guthrie scored the winning goal in Clarkson's first NCAA Tournament victory since 1996 with the Knights' second goal in the 2-1 triumph over St. Cloud State in the first round of the NCAA Wast Regional in Albany. Guthrie, along with Grant Clitsome was named to the All-Regional Team.
