- In his only action of the weekend, Paul Karpowich backstopped Clarkson to its first shutout of the season and his first collegiate whitewash as he posted 27 saves in Saturday’s 0-0 overtime tie against 4th-ranked Cornell. He made 12 saves in the second period and four more in the five-minute sudden death overtime stanza, and held the Big Red off the score sheet in three power-play opportunities. The 2008 St. Louis Blues draft choice is 2-0-1 in his last three starts.

-  JP Phaneuf swept the giant slalom and slalom events to win the combined title and help the Clarkson University Men's Alpine Ski team to victory at the Clarkson Invitational held at Whiteface Mountain.
