Women's Lacrosse
Nikko Corso

As the Liberty League Rookie of the Week, an honor which she shared with another player from William Smith, Nikki Corso continues to be the dominant player in the league when it comes to groundballs. She scooped up three in each of this past weekend's games and now has 54 through 13 games. Additionally, she earned three draw controls and caused three turnovers, all while scoring a pair of goals and adding an assist. For the season, she has 29 caused turnovers, which also ranks first in the Liberty League.

Men's Lacrosse
Matt Cyr
Freshman, Midifielder - Cheshire, CT

Matt Cyr played a big part in the Golden Knights' playoff-clinching victory on Saturday, and was rewarded on Monday as the Liberty League Rookie of the Week. Cyr, who shared the honor with a player from St. Lawrence, scored five points over two games. In a loss to St. Lawrence, Cyr scored a goal on two shots and caused a turnover. In a 10-8 win against Union, Cyr proved valuable, scoring a game-high four points with a goal and three assists. He also added a groundball and a caused turnover against the Dutchmen. For the season, Cyr is the second-leading rookie scorer for the Knights with 10 points on 6 goals, including two game-winners, and 4 assists. He also has contributed 13 groundballs.

Baseball
Austin Pitkin
Senior, IF/P - Dexter, NY

Throwing his second career complete game shutout, Austin Pitkin was selected as the Liberty League Pitcher of the Week on Monday. Pitkin, a 6-3 righthander, won two games over the course of the week for Clarkson. He picked up the win after a four-inning outing against St. Michael's in which he mowed through the Purple Knights roster on just one day's rest after earning a save against Brockport State on the previous Saturday. Then, on full rest, Pitkin dominated 17th-ranked Rochester, allowing just three hits and no walks while striking out four for the seven-inning shutout. For the season, Pitkin has proven value as a two-way player, leading the team with three victories and a save with 30 strikeouts in 33 innings. At the plate, Pitkin has stroked three home runs and driven in 12 runs with a .316 average through just 38 at bats.
