- Alison Schroeder helped to lead the Clarkson Volleyball team to a strong showing in its opening weekend of play. Schroeder had 70 digs at SUNY Cortland’s Red Dragon Invitational as the Golden Knights posted a 3-1 record. She was named to the All-Tournament team.

- Alex Benway opened his sophomore campaign in impressive style by running a sub-16 minute 5k on Saturday at the Cardinal Classic in Plattsburgh. A Golden Knight captain, Benway finished seventh with a time of 15:50.7 to lead the Green and Gold men to a third-place showing.

- Mark Secko has made an impressive showing in his debut at Clarkson, leading the Golden Knights in scoring with five goals as the Green and Gold have opened the season at 3-0 for the first time since 1990.

- Andrea Walsh scored twice during a second-half three-goal rally by the Golden Knights has Clarkson won its opening game of the season with a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Castleton State on Saturday.
