Freshman, Back - Bridgeport, NY

- Ellen Heenan helped the Golden Knights hold an overwhelming 34-2 edge in shots in a 3-0 shutout over Hilbert College on Saturday. She also led the team in shots (6), shots on goal (3) and also scored her first career goal in the victory.

Sara Artus
Sophomore, OH  - St. Regis Falls, NY

- Sara Artus was selected as the North Country Invitational Most Valuable Player, leading Clarkson to a 4-0 week in the tournament. Artus set a single-match high with 25 kills against Middlebury and then had 14 kills in a three-set sweep of previously unbeaten St. Lawrence. She averaged 4.5 kills per set with 63 total for the weekend.

Alex Benway
Sophomore - Queensbury, NY

- Alex Benway was the top collegiate runner at the 2009 North Country Cross Country Invitational hosted by Clarkson University on September 9. Benway covered the 3.3-mile men’s course in a time of 17:53.

Scott Stuart
Freshman, Goaltender - Ottawa, ONT

- In his 203 minutes of action over the weekend, Scott Stuart made 13 saves and allowed just a single goal for a .929 save percentage and 0.44 goals against average. He lost a shutout bid in overtime against Geneseo, 1-0, and then held 19th-ranked Rochester scoreless in a 0-0 tie.

Jon Tedesco
Senior - Clifton Park, NY

- Jon Tedesco shot a one-over par 73 to win the individual title for the Clarkson University Golf team at the Potsdam-Clarkson Challenge on September 8. Over the weekend, he placed 5th at the St. Lawrence Inv with a 36-hole score of 148 (75-73)
